Requirements

Must:
- Active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph - A minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience in network and transport technologies - At least 5 years of experience in large-scale enterprise/global networks in a dynamic environment - Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision - Advanced expertise in network design, engineering, and implementation - Experience in drafting network-related Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) equipment lists and cost estimates - Ability to assess labor requirements for planning, engineering, procurement, and installation of complex enterprise transport solutions - Familiarity with DISA and IC standards and processes - Strong writing and communication skills for creating analytical documents and presenting to senior management - Interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate priorities - Understanding of requirements engineering in various hardware/software development lifecycles - Knowledge of product management concepts related to enterprise network products - Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project - Willingness to work weekends and evenings if necessary - Understanding and experience with the DoD Architecture Framework - Proficient with CISCO and Juniper switches, routers, and cryptographic devices - Experience with network analysis tools such as CISCO Network Analysis Modules and Solar Winds Network Management - Knowledge of CISCO and Juniper firewall/VPN devices - Experience in supporting IP services connecting to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS - Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, and MPLS - Experience with cloud environments like AWS or Azure is a plus - Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

- Conduct requirements analysis, development, and implementation - Engineer and deploy solutions for projects based on customer change requests - Act as the technical representative for assigned projects - Provide insights on newly submitted action items - Coordinate issues with relevant stakeholders and organizations - Offer agreement on decisions or recommendations by assigned deadlines - Gather requirements through interviews, document reviews, surveys, site visits, scenarios, business analysis, and test/workflow analysis - Draft requirement specifications following standard templates - Break down high-level business and user needs into functional requirements - Represent requirements visually using analysis models and diagrams - Execute requirement analysis and verification, ensuring statements are complete, consistent, concise, traceable, feasible, and clear - Manage requirements traceability information and monitor requirements status during the review process - Identify errors and defects in requirements and draft response statements to appropriate parties - Assist in network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization to achieve performance and availability goals - Assess and report on new/emerging network and communication technologies to enhance network capacity, performance, and reliability - Recommend changes or technology upgrades to meet performance objectives and adhere to industry best practices - Adhere to all customer network security protocols and ensure compliance with government policies - Create and maintain network architecture diagrams - Carry out other job-related duties as necessary
