Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the development and support of Deltek Costpoint within a corporate setting.
- Proficient hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint application development and its configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL, encompassing complex queries, performance optimization, and data analysis.
- Expertise in IBM Cognos, utilizing it as the primary reporting tool for Deltek Costpoint.
- Skill in designing, maintaining, and optimizing Cognos models and reports related to Costpoint financial and project data.
- Experience in developing custom Costpoint screens, processes, reports, and interfaces.
- In-depth understanding of Costpoint financial modules and project-based accounting principles.
- Familiarity with supporting Costpoint upgrades, patches, and version transitions.
- Experience leading and facilitating Deltek Costpoint and CPIM upgrades, including Costpoint 8.2, with impact analysis, testing, and validation.
- Knowledge in supporting Costpoint integrations, imports, and troubleshooting in cloud-hosted or SaaS environments.
- Practical experience with upgrades (including CPIM), cloud-hosted Costpoint environments, and Cognos reporting.
- Understanding of source control, development standards, and release management protocols.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for addressing complex system and data challenges.
- Capability to work autonomously while effectively engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in regulated environments with audit, compliance, and internal controls.
- Must pass pre-employment assessments of Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Deltek Costpoint applications that underpin enterprise financial and project accounting functions.
- Create and sustain custom Costpoint components, including screens, processes, reports, and integrations using designated Costpoint development frameworks.
- Act as a technical subject-matter expert for Costpoint modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Projects, and Billing.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects that support Costpoint reporting and data integrity.
- Facilitate and improve integrations between Costpoint and other systems (e.g., HR, payroll, reporting, data warehouses).
- Direct troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex production issues related to Costpoint performance, data accuracy, and system functionality.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to convert functional requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
- Offer technical advice and mentorship to junior developers and application support team members.
- Assist with Costpoint upgrades, patches, and version modifications, including impact analysis, mitigation, and post-upgrade validation.
- Guarantee compliance with internal security standards, audit requirements, and controls pertinent to financial systems.
- Compose and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and system design materials.
- Engage in change management, release planning, and post-implementation verification processes.
- Work alongside Infrastructure and Database teams to ensure system availability, performance, and readiness for disaster recovery.
- Adhere to established SDLC, ITIL, and governance frameworks for development, deployment, and support tasks.
- Perform additional job-related responsibilities as needed.

Our compensation package is competitive, with a salary range of $90,000 - $110,000, along with full-time benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K. We operate in various locations including Tulsa, Colorado Springs, Tysons, and San Antonio.
