Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Salesforce certification (Administrator preferred).
- Minimum of four (4) years of general professional experience.
- Experience in testing large-scale software solutions.
- At least three (3) years of experience in troubleshooting software issues.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Agile development methodologies.
- Preferred experience in public sector projects or multiple Salesforce implementations.
- Proven ability in coordinating and executing testing activities, inclusive of creating testing documentation, testing IT hardware, software, systems, and networks.
- Strong technical acumen in the Salesforce platform and applications, with an understanding of Salesforce functionalities, configurations, and data structures.
- Experience in planning, creating, and executing tests for Salesforce projects.
- Proficient in utilizing QA tools and methodologies, including test management systems, defect tracking software, and test automation frameworks.
- Familiar with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Salesforce-specific tools like Salesforce DX or Apex Test Classes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and provide detailed defect reports.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum practices, with experience on Agile development teams.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Public Trust Clearance.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment criteria set by Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify Salesforce features, configurations, and customizations.
- Work in collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and system administrators to gather requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage meets business objectives.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Salesforce applications, confirming compliance with established quality benchmarks.
- Identify, document, and monitor defects and issues using a defect tracking system while working with technical teams for prompt resolution.
- Develop and manage test data and testing environments to ensure accurate and representative testing conditions.
- Create and maintain automated testing scripts and tools to enhance the testing process and improve overall efficiency.
- Engage in the release management procedure, including reviewing deployment strategies and providing insights on the release readiness of Salesforce applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and requirements, ensuring that testing aligns with complete business workflows.
- Continuously enhance QA methodologies and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing advancements.
- Stay informed about new Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends, assessing their implications on QA practices and testing strategies.
- Offer feedback and suggestions regarding user experience, system performance, and overall quality enhancements.
- Undertake other job-related duties as assigned.
