Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree combined with 5 years of practical Salesforce or related software development experience, OR
- Associate degree with 7 years of Salesforce or pertinent software development experience, OR
- High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience.
- Capability to secure a VA Public Trust Clearance.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator certifications, or the ability to obtain these within 90 days.
- Extensive hands-on experience with OmniStudio (previously known as Vlocity) components: OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
- Proven experience in designing guided user journeys and complex forms through OmniStudio.
- Knowledge of when to utilize OmniStudio as opposed to Apex/LWC for sustainable solutions.
- Experience in integrating OmniStudio with outside systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with OmniStudio performance enhancement techniques, including caching and the use of reusable components.
- Must pass pre-employment screening requirements set by Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Create custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API services.
- Work collaboratively with consultants and stakeholders to clarify requirements and produce high-quality solutions.
- Establish complex business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation within Salesforce.
- Build and uphold secure, scalable connections with external systems.
- Ensure solutions are compliant with Salesforce best practices and federal security standards.
- Participate in code review processes, testing, debugging, and release management activities.
- Keep up-to-date documentation, technical designs, and deployment protocols.
- Provide technical assistance and issue resolution for deployed solutions.
- Design and develop OmniStudio solutions employing OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors for intricate user workflows.
- Convert business requirements into low-code OmniStudio configurations, reducing the use of custom Apex where feasible.
- Create and enhance Integration Procedures for orchestrating backend systems and APIs.
- Set up and manage DataRaptors for effective data mapping and transformation.
- Develop dynamic, responsive UI components utilizing FlexCards and OmniScripts for guided user experiences.
- Execute OmniStudio best practices for optimal performance, including caching and selective data retrieval.
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging OmniStudio components using associated logs and tools.
- Collaborate with architects to integrate OmniStudio solutions within the broader Salesforce and enterprise architectural framework.
- Carry out additional job-related tasks as required.
