Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience - Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce development, particularly in Service Cloud - Proficient in troubleshooting SSO authentication issues, especially using SAML - Familiarity with Okta or another Identity Provider (IdP) - Strong skills in Salesforce debug logs, user access management, and login issue resolution - Experience using browser developer tools for analyzing authentication errors - Knowledgeable in configuring Network Access settings within Salesforce - Capable of managing multiple Salesforce environments at once - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - US Citizenship is required - Active VA Public Trust Clearance or the willingness to obtain one - Must meet the pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

- Assist with the migration to Salesforce SSO and ensure authentication readiness across various environments (Development, Test, UAT, Production) - Configure, validate, and troubleshoot SAML-based SSO integrations utilizing Okta or similar identity providers - Analyze and resolve login problems using browser developer tools and Salesforce debug logs - Enable Salesforce debug logs for troubleshooting authentication and user sessions - Conduct user impersonation (login-as) to verify access and recreate issues - Manage profiles, permission sets, and user access configurations - Set up and maintain Network Access settings, including IP ranges and login restrictions - Support environment readiness and validation for enterprise access management modifications - Collaborate with VA enterprise teams and internal stakeholders for successful SSO implementation - Prepare and assist end users to ensure effective login and access during rollout - Develop code following established development standards, including unit, security, and automation testing - Provide expert guidance on the implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of Salesforce solutions - Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions and custom applications - Advise stakeholders on Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and limitations, including third-party tools - Conduct system evaluations and gap analyses to recommend optimal configurations and data models - Aid Agile development teams with in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including DevOps and sandbox strategies - Ensure adherence to security, data governance, and regulatory requirements - Coordinate with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic business objectives - Undertake additional job-related tasks as assigned
