Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - At least 11 years of relevant professional experience. - Demonstrated expertise in managing DevSecOps environments and deployment workflows for Salesforce low-code/no-code platforms. - Strong understanding of Salesforce sandbox and production settings, including metadata configuration and management. - Minimum of 3 years of experience with declarative Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, Unmanaged Packages, or Workbench/Ant Migration Tool. - At least 3 years of experience using DevSecOps tools, including Harness.io, Copado, Flosum, or Jenkins. - Practical experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Harness.io, including YAML authoring and platform management. - Proficient in Python (version 3.9+) with type hints for developing orchestration scripts and business logic. - Skilled in Bash/shell scripting for automation and environment configuration. - Solid experience utilizing Salesforce CLI for metadata retrieval, deployments, org authentication, and Apex test execution. - Advanced Git proficiency, including branch management and multi-branch workflow coordination. - Thorough understanding of Salesforce metadata types and deployment processes throughout the development lifecycle. - Proven track record of implementing CI/CD practices and release management methodologies. - Capacity to create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with the capability to diagnose deployment failures and complex integration issues. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in cross-functional team environments. - U.S. Citizenship is required. - Eligibility to obtain and retain a Government Public Trust Clearance. - Successful completion of pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and sustain CI/CD pipelines in Harness.io for Salesforce metadata deployments across diverse environments. - Develop and support Python-based orchestration and business logic to enhance native Harness.io functionalities. - Create and maintain pipeline YAML configurations, reusable templates, and standardized components following a three-layer architecture. - Construct and oversee custom tools, including delta deployment generation, environment drift detection, and structured reporting utilities. - Manage container images, artifact repositories, and pipeline infrastructure dependencies. - Implement and sustain integrations with notification systems, work item tracking tools, and version control platforms. - Diagnose pipeline failures, connectivity challenges, and deployment errors employing a proactive diagnostic approach. - Serve as the main point of contact for deployment triage, accurately diagnosing and resolving issues across various pipelines. - Oversee the entire release lifecycle, which includes branch creation, work item aggregation, manifest generation, and production deployment. - Work closely with developers, administrators, and release managers for smooth metadata promotion from development to production environments. - Enforce branching strategies, including feature, promotion, release, hotfix, and environment branches. - Provision, configure, and manage Salesforce sandbox environments to facilitate the software development lifecycle. - Provide operational support to cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and release management. - Define and execute the DevSecOps roadmap to enhance deployment speed, reliability, and overall developer experience. - Assess, pilot, and adopt new tools and capabilities, including code quality gates, security scanning, and automated testing frameworks. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as delta deployment optimization and automated environment refreshes. - Produce and sustain comprehensive documentation, such as architecture diagrams, SOPs, and onboarding materials. - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align DevSecOps practices with organizational objectives and compliance standards. - Stay updated on platform enhancements, Salesforce CLI updates, and industry best practices for guiding platform evolution. - Mentor team members on DevSecOps principles and secure development workflows. - Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
