Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 6 years of pertinent experience.
- Additional 2 years of experience may substitute for an Associates Degree.
- Additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a high school diploma.
- Proficient in crafting complex SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle databases.
- Experience in identifying and resolving complex data issues in enterprise systems.
- Skilled in designing and implementing comprehensive test plans for database logic and validation.
- Strong command of analytic SQL functions and common table expressions (CTEs) in intricate queries.
- Familiar with database development tools like TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Keen attention to detail with established analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrates leadership in uncertain situations and proactively resolves issues.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain PL/SQL procedures, packages, and intricate SQL queries within Oracle databases.
- Identify, analyze, and rectify data quality or integrity issues within LGY systems.
- Design and implement complex database queries utilizing analytic functions, CTEs, and advanced SQL techniques.
- Create and execute detailed test plans to validate database logic, data transformations, and system integrations.
- Assess database performance and optimize queries for greater efficiency and scalability.
- Work collaboratively with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to troubleshoot problems and enhance application functionality.
- Utilize database development tools such as TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer to manage queries, assess performance, and address database issues.
- Document database processes, queries, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare and evaluate solution options with technical leads to tackle complex data or system challenges.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and the delivery team while ensuring support for mission-critical systems.
- Perform other job-related tasks as necessary.
