Requirements

Must:
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a VA Public Trust clearance - Over 5 years of MuleSoft development experience across at least two distinct projects - Bachelors degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of software development experience, or an Associates degree with 7 years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of relevant experience - MuleSoft Developer Certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1) or the willingness to achieve this certification within 90 days - Proven application development expertise - Background in professional services or consulting - Experience working within an Agile framework - Successful completion of pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and oversee MuleSoft integrations utilizing Mule 4.x, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Platform components - Develop and maintain APIs and integration flows leveraging RESTful services, DataWeave, connectors, and message-based paradigms - Establish error handling, logging, monitoring, and resilience strategies suitable for critical federal systems - Work in collaboration with Salesforce developers, architects, and business stakeholders to convert integration requirements into solid technical solutions - Facilitate integrations between Salesforce and both downstream systems and external partners - Ensure that integrations adhere to VA security policies, data protection standards, and audit stipulations - Take part in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release management processes - Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and operational runbooks - Diagnose and rectify production issues related to integration performance, data flow, and system uptime - Execute additional job-specific duties as assigned

Description


We are looking for a dedicated MuleSoft Developer to join our expanding Salesforce Division. This role supports the VA Loan Guaranty Service in developing and maintaining integration services for the VALERI product, which manages the lifecycle of VA-guaranteed home loans. We emphasize the significance of compliance reporting and risk management to help protect Veterans and enhance program integrity. The position entails constructing secure and scalable integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, facilitating data exchange between Salesforce and various systems while complying with federal standards. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K options.
