Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience.
- COMPTIA A+ certification is desirable.
- Proficient understanding of computer software systems including databases, office applications, and operating systems.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic abilities.
- Advanced familiarity with help desk software and remote-access solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of troubleshooting intricate hardware and software challenges.
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and Workstation operating systems.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP and commands for resolving network connectivity problems.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with DHCP.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Configuration Manager Console (SCCM) and client deployments.
- Knowledgeable in Google Apps/Gmail and Microsoft Outlook.
- Ability to utilize remote tools for supporting users remotely.
- Commitment to adhering to Service Level Targets or Agreements.
- Must successfully complete the pre-employment qualifications for Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Provide resolutions for common issues as the first point of contact, including customer training and advanced (Tier II) support.
- Diagnose and resolve end-user issues related to workstations, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and standard software/applications.
- Analyze software and business applications to troubleshoot any issues.
- Handle requests and concerns via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their issues and requests are adequately addressed.
- Collaborate effectively both independently and within teams to research and document issues and their solutions.
- Partner with various enterprise teams to ensure comprehensive support for the end user.
- Assist customers through the problem-solving process step-by-step.
- Perform additional service desk duties as required.
Description
At Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH), we support federal projects such as the National Park Service IT project. Our service desk, located in Lakewood, CO, delivers IT assistance to NPS personnel nationally. This hybrid role requires you to be on-site four days a week. We offer competitive pay ranging from $25/hr. to $28/hr., alongside comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401K.
