Requirements
Must:
- Relevant degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 3-4 years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows/Active Directory.
- Familiarity with IT security protocols.
- Knowledgeable in network administration.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to research and propose hardware/software solutions.
- Adept at performing system administration duties.
- Proficient in effectively integrating new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with client offices.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements set by Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities
- Deliver internal system administration and IT support to personnel.
- Execute personal computer management and maintenance (Microsoft Windows/Active Directory).
- Provide assistance to users for technical issues.
- Conduct and oversee computer backup operations.
- Install updates for software and hardware.
- Investigate and draft recommendations for hardware/software.
- Manage peripheral devices such as printers and power supplies.
- Keep an inventory database of all hardware and software assets.
- Conduct network administration tasks.
- Oversee IT security measures.
- Manage email system functions.
- Implement and adapt new technological solutions.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
