Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in enterprise application support and development
- Proven track record in maintaining and supporting COBALT software applications or similar platforms
- Strong proficiency in software development, application troubleshooting, and production support
- Experience with automation script development and deployment tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of application lifecycle management and release processes
- Familiarity with supporting complex IT environments and system integrations
Responsibilities
- Act as the Tier III Subject Matter Expert for COBALT applications, delivering advanced technical support and diagnosing intricate application issues
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain COBALT applications to ensure alignment with business operations
- Analyze application requirements, implementing enhancements, fixes, and tailored solutions to boost performance
- Assist in managing the application lifecycle, encompassing design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot and rectify software defects, integration problems, and performance issues within COBALT applications
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards for COBALT environments
- Oversee application deployment and configuration management
- Create and manage automated deployment solutions for COBALT applications through enterprise endpoint management tools
- Develop and maintain application installation packages and deployment scripts for broad distribution
- Ensure effective software version control, patch management, and release strategies for COBALT applications
- Guarantee consistent deployment of COBALT applications across enterprise platforms, maintaining supported versions
- Integrate COBALT applications with various enterprise platforms and services, including directory services, collaboration tools, and monitoring systems
- Support integration with authentication services, security tools, and enterprise data sources
- Design and maintain APIs, scripts, and automation tools to enhance interoperability and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and security standards for COBALT systems
- Implement and maintain security measures and compliance requirements within COBALT applications
- Monitor the performance, health, and usage metrics of applications to identify optimization opportunities
- Facilitate application logging, auditing, and reporting capabilities, ensuring compliance with information assurance and security protocols
- Develop automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, scripting languages, and configuration management tools
- Create scripts to aid in application deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance tasks
- Streamline system administration through automation to minimize manual processes
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned

You will play a critical role in enhancing and maintaining COBALT capabilities throughout the application lifecycle, supporting a variety of essential enterprise applications. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $70.00 to $75.00 per hour, depending on your experience. Our team fosters a collaborative and mission-driven environment where you will be integral to serving our federal clients.
