Requirements
Must:
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of experience in a call center or help desk environment preferred
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with Windows 10 and basic computer skills
- Knowledge of MS Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams)
- Understanding of computer file structures and basic tools (e.g., snipping tool)
- Experience with CRM or ITSM tools for ticket logging
- Ability to learn and retain complex information preferred
- Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish required
- Proficient professional communication in English and Spanish required
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume support center
- Strong problem-solving abilities with sound judgment
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a distraction-free work environment
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to users via phone, chat, and email
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing basic technical issues
- Ensure customer value is maintained to company standards
- Assist Federal and Industry users with issues while conveying solutions
- Support account access, password resets, and web program functionalities
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher levels of support
- Track and route problems to appropriate resources
- Guide customers through the problem-solving process
- Help users troubleshoot and configure internet browser settings
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Maintain excellent service and exceed customer expectations
- Document and close incident tickets accurately
- Expand knowledge of help desk procedures and services
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
