Requirements
Must:
- Experience in system administration and providing Tier 2 technical support in an enterprise setting.
- Strong proficiency in Windows/Linux operating systems along with troubleshooting methodologies.
- Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and ITSM processes.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, scripting (preferably JavaScript), and integrations.
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks; ITIL certification is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a capacity to manage incidents effectively.
- Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for system incidents and changes that exceed service desk capabilities.
- Administer and maintain ServiceNow, focusing on workflow automation, incident/problem management, service catalog, and change management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance ServiceNow functionalities and boost system performance.
- Apply ServiceNow best practices to streamline ticketing processes and ensure precise documentation.
- Assist in system updates, patches, and maintenance while adhering to IT security policies.
- Offer training and support to users on ServiceNow functionalities.
- Participate in system deployments, migrations, and configurations as required.
