Senior Security Architect, Cloud & Network

- Design shared services and cloud infrastructure environments to achieve high-level security certification equivalents (e.g., FedRAMP HIGH). - Strategize, evaluate, and integrate cybersecurity solutions across the organization. - Provide cybersecurity engineering services by designing IT enterprise systems to counter existing and emerging cyber threats; enhance security capabilities of legacy systems. - Collaborate on security-related tasks with information security architects, senior agency information security officers, system owners, security control providers, and information system security officers. - Facilitate the incorporation of security and privacy requirements in the Secure System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to effectively address security and privacy needs. - Assess architecture and solution shortcomings; outline system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for solution compatibility. - Deliver security consulting, architecture, application security services, tools management, and engineering support for systems, new IT, and security initiatives. - Ensure IT security is integrated and considered throughout the IT architecture for all projects. - Offer security architecture and engineering expertise across agency initiatives to create a secure enterprise, covering internal systems, cloud services, and external/third-party service provider systems. - Conduct research, assess, and engineer security technologies and products aimed at safeguarding, monitoring, and evaluating the security of IT assets. - Analyze security products both currently in use and those proposed, including their integration into the overall architecture and interactions with other systems. - Review and provide insights on project-deliverable documentation in support of the Software/System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC). - Create, update, and maintain Cyber Security Architecture, Engineering, and Security Tools documentation adhering to industry best practices. - Assist with documentation, architectural design, security engineering, application security, and cybersecurity tools management. - Provide expert-level consultation and technical services focusing on all aspects of cybersecurity, especially continuous monitoring. - Exhibit leadership and promote a collaborative team environment; engage effectively with both frontline personnel and senior management while offering consulting and expertise on information security topics. - Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
