Requirements

Must:
- Associate degree or bachelors degree (preferred) from an accredited institution. - High school diploma or GED equivalent plus an additional 5+ years of experience can be substituted for a degree. - 5+ years of experience in IT systems support. - IT certifications: CompTIA Certification A+, Network+ or Security+. - Secret clearance is mandatory. - Ability to make informed and independent decisions impacting the efficiency and security of the technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Recommend and schedule repairs as necessary. - Provide end-user assistance for all SSP network applications. - Install and configure workstations, laptops, and iPhones. - Troubleshoot VPN issues with SSP-provided equipment. - Offer support for Windows operating systems, including installation, patching, troubleshooting, and deployment of Windows 10. - Research and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016. - Install and troubleshoot various SSP-specific and third-party software applications. - Collaborate with onsite contractors to manage network spillages. - Work with the SPCIO office in preparation for IT Accreditation and cybersecurity inspections. - Mentor and guide junior technicians or IT personnel. - Independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software challenges. - Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. - Plan and manage IT projects autonomously, overseeing resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessments to ensure successful outcomes. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT configurations, modifications, and incidents for auditing and reporting purposes. - Manage IT budgets and make informed decisions regarding expenditures, including hardware and software license procurement, while adhering to budget limitations. - Perform additional tasks as assigned.
