Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred: BA/BS in the information technology field
- 6+ years of experience in designing, installing, and configuring enterprise desktop VTC deployments
- Senior experience with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Cisco UC/VTC technologies
- Required: COMPTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
- Familiarity with AMX, Crestron, or Extron control systems
- Top secret clearance with SCI eligibility required
Responsibilities
- Lead onsite engineering personnel and act as customer liaison
- Provide lifecycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and equipment build-out
- Support the AV Engineering Team in delivering video teleconferencing services to a DoD organization
- Conduct site surveys to determine AV/VTC system requirements
- Offer on-site and occasional satellite support, including travel
- Troubleshoot and resolve system operational issues
- Repair, replace, or reprogram malfunctioning equipment
- Set up, test, operate, and shut down equipment for AV/VTC sessions
- Consult with clients and provide training on audio/visual and VTC equipment usage
- Manage equipment inventory and accountability functions
- Ensure compliance with customer reporting requirements, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Develop metrics capture and quality control processes
- Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in assigned tasks
- Complete annual training requirements for both company and customer
- Record labor hours on a daily basis
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
