Network Engineer - Cisco & Routing

- Bachelors degree with over 4 years of relevant experience; or - Associate degree with more than 6 years of related experience; or - High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience - Active CompTIA Network+ certification - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary - Proficient in managing Cisco or similar network hardware - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems - Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies - Capability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively coordinating with onsite personnel - Skill to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines in a dynamic contracting setting - Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups - Friendly demeanor, helpful attitude, and strong interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in a home office setting - Ability to provide technical assistance over the phone, with strong phone etiquette and previous customer service experience preferred - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to visualize and think abstractly about issues
