Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Program Management, or a related discipline is preferred, though extensive experience may substitute for education.
- Over 10 years of experience in DoD/TRANSCOM program management, contract execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Program Management Certification (PMP) is mandatory.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Proficient in program management tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Ability to engage with diverse key stakeholders for timely communication and deliverables.
- Understanding of contract execution and ensuring regulatory compliance and performance standards.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance to identify, mitigate, and track program risks.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational expertise.
- Driven to achieve results with a proactive and positive mindset.
- Capable of multitasking and managing tight deadlines while focusing on priorities.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Display good judgment and a practical approach to optimize architecture activities across business needs, constraints, and technologies.
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and foster innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and management oversight for all project requirements, setting objectives and plans to achieve program mandates from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with broader business goals and objectives.
- Supervise and oversee financial management, methods, and staffing for client engagements while ensuring all technical requirements are satisfied.
- Engage in client negotiations and interact with senior leadership, both internally and externally, while serving as a bridge between business and technical aspects of projects.
- Author and maintain program management documentation and delivery requirements.
- Exercise control over team member responsibilities across specific functions or phases of the programs.
- Select personnel based on relevant knowledge and experience suited to the programs needs.
- Collaborate with staff to communicate program objectives and individual roles effectively.
- Direct and coordinate activities aimed at achieving program goals.
- Review progress reports and records to ensure alignment with program objectives and adjust methodologies as needed.
- Prepare program updates for senior management review.
- Monitor expenditures in accordance with the budget allocated.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
