Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Over 5 years of experience in enterprise, system, or solution architecture for programs of similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Proven experience in establishing and governing enterprise architecture baselines.
- Background in evaluating architectural trade-offs and enforcing architecture standards.
- Experience in supporting Government decision-making through architectural governance and analysis.
- Proficiency in heterogeneous, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Experience in complex, federated IT environments with multiple stakeholders, security domains, and integration partners.
- Knowledge in applying DoD or Federal architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF or equivalent).
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary architectural authority for the program.
- Establish, maintain, and govern the baseline for enterprise and solution architecture.
- Ensure architectural alignment with approved objectives and the controlled evolution of the platform.
- Lead architectural decision support activities, including analysis of alternatives and evaluating architectural trade-offs.
- Define and enforce standards, policies, and governance processes for enterprise architecture.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements, enterprise standards, and Federal/DoD guidelines.
- Provide architectural recommendations to facilitate Government decision-making.
- Coordinate across various stakeholders, security enclaves, mission partners, and integration providers.
- Apply relevant Federal or DoD architecture frameworks to ensure proper traceability and governance.
- Support the integration of solutions within multi-cloud, hybrid, and on-premises settings.
- Lead the creation and upkeep of architectural artifacts, roadmaps, and transition strategies.
- Participate as the senior architectural authority in technical and program governance forums.
- Provide architectural leadership and technical direction to architecture and engineering teams.
- Guide and influence solution architects and technical leads in various organizations and environments.
- Establish review and approval processes for architectural decisions.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
