Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
- Over 2 years of relevant experience, including:
- Proficiency with UNIX/LINUX-based operating systems
- Experience with Oracle or similar relational databases
- Familiarity with scripting languages
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Security+ certification is mandatory
- TS/SCI Security Clearance is essential
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with on-site database and system administrators to communicate and investigate system issues
- Troubleshoot operational problems and escalate them to vendors, factories, or on-site Subject Matter Experts as necessary
- Ensure prompt identification and resolution of system issues to minimize operational disruptions
- Provide support for servers, workstations, and storage systems in a collaborative environment
- Assist customers using NGAs Portal and related applications for time-sensitive operations
- Attain optimal performance and uptime in line with service level agreements by evaluating, implementing, and managing suitable technical solutions
- Strive to maintain systems at nearly 100% uptime
- Execute system backups and recoveries, manage user accounts and file systems, and track system performance metrics for senior-level meetings
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure systems are updated and finely tuned
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
