Responsibilities
In this role, you will help drive a data-informed future for our customer-owners by designing and delivering analytics, dashboards, and insights that enhance reliability, stewardship, and service across our hydro and utility operations in Wenatchee, WA. Your contributions will help transform complex operational and financial data into straightforward decisions that promote safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will partner with business and engineering teams to create reliable analytics from various real-world datasets. You will also develop and automate business intelligence solutions and data models, generate executive-ready dashboards and reports, validate data, and support process improvement initiatives. The scope of your work will evolve as you grow, ranging from supporting builds and recurring reports (Level I) to leading cross-functional analytics, business intelligence architecture, and enterprise initiatives (Senior).
Description
We expect a strong foundation in statistics, SQL, and a programming language (such as Python or R), along with experience in modern business intelligence tools (like Power BI or Tableau). Familiarity with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Fabric, Snowflake, SQL) and time series tools (like AVEVA PI) is a plus, especially as you advance to higher levels necessitating deep expertise and mentoring. Effective communication of insights to both technical and non-technical audiences will be essential. We encourage collaboration across teams and foster a culture of continuous learning.
