Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Masters Degree is preferred.
- For Control Systems Engineer III: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Level II or 5 years of progressive experience in Control System Engineering is required.
- For Control Systems Engineer IV: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Level III or 8 years of progressive experience in Control System Engineering is required.
- Masters degree may reduce total experience by 2 years.
- Valid Drivers License at hire and Washington Drivers License within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Engage in advanced networked systems focusing on SCADA and related technologies, ensuring compliance with operational safety and revenue requirements.
- Design, develop, implement, document, and maintain various energy management systems, communication architectures, and human-machine interfaces.
- Collaborate with control room personnel and project teams, providing them with tools, data analysis, technical documentation, and engineering support.
- Troubleshoot system issues, devise solutions, and manage the integration of multiple systems.
- Maintain and upgrade servers, workstations, and network components while managing various operating systems.
- Create program documentation to align with NERC CIP requirements and support internal and external audits.
- Develop security architecture, conduct audits, and perform security risk assessments to ensure compliance and operational security.
- Lead project teams, providing expertise and technical support throughout project lifecycles, and organize related technical meetings.
- Commit to regular attendance and adhere to the Districts safety regulations and training protocols.

We are looking for an advanced individual contributor to join our Control Systems Engineering Group at Chelan County PUD. This role is pivotal in developing and supporting supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) and energy management systems.
