Requirements
Must:
- BA/BS degree
- 7-10+ years of professional IT or product development experience
- 5+ years of direct product management experience
- 3+ years of collaboration with software engineers
- Strong grasp of generative AI technologies, architecture, and terminology (e.g. LLMs, RAG)
- Experience in crafting or utilizing generative AI solutions, preferably in risk, compliance, or cyber domains
- MBA, JD, or advanced degree in AI-related fields (preferred)
- Professional background in engineering, data science, risk management, or compliance (preferred)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with various organizational levels
- Familiarity with financial services regulations (preferred)
- Strong persuasive skills, with the ability to influence business decisions
- Experience in creating diverse solutions for complex issues
- Passion for addressing user challenges and swiftly testing solutions
- Organized self-starter with keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment
- Eagerness to stay current with GenAI advancements
- Consistent track record of performance
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively define the vision and roadmap for GenAI applications in risk, compliance, and cyber areas
- Work alongside R&D and risk stakeholders to pinpoint impactful projects and establish evaluation methods for the quality of generative AI outputs
- Engage in model validation to maintain performance standards, regulatory compliance, and business relevance of AI tools
- Develop metrics to gauge hallucination impact and compliance effectiveness
- Convey key metrics and risk insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, emphasizing trends and business implications
- Transform long-term visions into manageable MVPs and deliveries focusing on risk and compliance
- Advocate for the near-term product vision, ensuring alignment with Schwabs strategic and regulatory objectives
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, including user research and market strategies
- Identify and address risks throughout the development process, emphasizing regulatory and operational considerations
- Create training and onboarding plans to empower internal teams in using platform tools
- Actively prioritize the product roadmap to ensure each development effort adds value
