Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including 4 years as a senior engineer in both startups and larger organizations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in developing complex products from inception to production with operational reliability.
- 3 years of experience building applications that utilize AI models to achieve measurable business outcomes.
- 3 years of experience developing applications and data pipelines that work with large datasets.
- 3 years of experience with containers and cloud-native applications, including their operationalization in public cloud environments using infrastructure as code.
- Strong foundational knowledge in computer science with exposure across the entire technology stack.
- Experience deploying proprietary or open-source LLMs and LLM-powered applications in production environments.
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and implementing comprehensive testing at various levels.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, for conveying concepts and feedback clearly.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Continuous learner with a focus on improvement and curiosity about emerging technologies.
- Ability to tackle complex problems that involve ambiguous or incomplete data within distributed systems.
- Familiarity with aspects pertinent to the business domain related to previous products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement GenAI applications that enhance client experiences and deliver business results.
- Advocate for reliability, monitoring, observability, and operational best practices in AI systems and data pipelines.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise-wide strategies and technical standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to promote strong engineering practices and a culture of continual learning.
- Lead efforts in addressing intricate technical challenges and facilitate swift iterations from initial concept to deployment.
- Establish and uphold monitoring, alerting, and incident response protocols to guarantee system reliability and health.
- Enhance engineering standards, emphasizing quality and operational excellence across all project deliverables.
