Requirements

Must:
- Extensive experience in financial asset management, particularly in equity trading, portfolio management, operations, and accounting. - Subject matter expertise and experience with optimization tools—preferably Axioma and Gurobi. - Subject matter expertise and experience with IBOR systems—preferably Vestmark. - Proven ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and deadlines while effectively communicating with various stakeholders in a matrixed organization, particularly in trading, portfolio management, compliance, and risk. - Demonstrated capacity to analyze needs and provide technology recommendations to the business. - Experience in the systems development life cycle, including defining and documenting specifications, collaborating with developers on design and analysis of technical solutions, testing completed code, and ensuring a seamless implementation with business partners. - Confidence in presenting both strategic and tactical visions for big-picture planning and day-to-day project management. - Willingness to work with both in-house developed systems and third-party vendor packages. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills. - BA/BS in finance, computer science, or related field. - CFA Foundation or CFA certification is acceptable. - A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as an IT business systems analyst or experience as a business analyst seeking to transition into technology.

Responsibilities

- Serve as a subject matter expert for business partners and technology, addressing enhancements, concerns, or inquiries related to portfolio optimization and performance attribution. - Conduct requirements-gathering meetings with users, developers, system design architects, system integrators, and vendors. - Collaborate with Agile team members to create requirement stories, UAT test scripts, release notes, and other project documentation. - Coordinate user acceptance testing among vendors, business stakeholders, and the Wealth & Asset Management technology team. - Ensure successful delivery of system solutions to business stakeholders. - Provide in-depth data support and maintain vendor applications and in-house systems as necessary. - Acquire comprehensive business knowledge to effectively advocate for the business community while developing technical solutions that align with business strategies. - Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently. - Utilize visualization software such as Visio or Lucidchart to create flowcharts representing workflows. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of web services and/or API specifications, transforming business requirements into user stories in JIRA and Confluence. - Use collaborative tools such as Jira and Confluence effectively.
