Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience as a SOC Analyst or in a comparable position
- More than 3 years of practical experience with NexGen SIEM, M365 Security Suite, Netskope, Proofpoint, Tanium, EDR solutions, and Qualys
- At least 5 years of expertise in incident response processes and methodologies
- Over 5 years of proficiency with specialized tools for analyzing malicious emails, malware, and viruses
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP or IH, are a plus
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and assess security events and alerts across various platforms to identify unusual activities and potential threats
- Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents by correlating various data sources, determining the root cause and impact, aligned with MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Engage in proactive threat hunting using insights from emerging threats and behavioral analytics
- Create clear, concise reports on security incidents and trends for management and stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with internal technology teams to enhance security measures and improve operational processes
- Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) for alert triage, investigation, and incident response
- Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours support of critical security incidents
- Assist with additional duties as necessary to support the overall effectiveness of the Security Operations Center
