Senior Manager, Network Engineering

- Manage a WAN environment that includes MPLS, SDWAN, and IPSEC within Virtual Cloud settings, ensuring 24/7 network uptime. - Oversee multi-cloud network environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). - Implement proactive monitoring and anomaly detection utilizing AI tools. - Research and adopt top-tier Networking and AI networking architectures and tools. - Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership to network engineers. - Set strategic direction for data networks concerning hardware, operating systems, and patching processes. - Design and execute both short- and long-term strategic plans to meet existing and future network capacity needs. - Negotiate with vendors and contractors for network products and services. - Document issue resolution and analyze trends to prevent future incidents. - Develop and maintain policies and training plans for network resource management. - Manage network assets, including maintenance, inventory, and documentation. - Ensure ownership of problems until complete resolution. - Plan and coordinate installation of hardware and software across the network. - Conduct research and provide recommendations on network products and protocols. - Prepare IT project documentation, including RFPs and contracts. - Manage network budgets, contracts, and service level agreements. - Collaborate with the security team to ensure effective security solutions are in place. - Maintain communication with executives and stakeholders across the organization. - Drive operational cost management and financial forecasting for network enhancements. - Supervise network analysts and technicians, including performance evaluations. - Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Routing and Switching technologies across multiple environments. - Demonstrate expertise in SDWAN, Zscaler, and Palo Alto systems. - Manage network changes and adhere to change management processes. - Collaborate with senior engineers to define networking technology standards.
