Requirements
Must:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Cyber Resiliency, or Facilities Security
- Experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, insurance, or another regulated environment
- Solid understanding of BCP/DR concepts, including BIAs, RTO/RPO, crisis management, and recovery testing
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FINRA, SEC, FFIEC) related to business continuity
- Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Capability to collaborate across different functions and engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Professional certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Support the creation, upkeep, and annual assessment of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans across various business units and technology divisions
- Assist with conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA), focusing on critical processes, dependencies, and recovery needs
- Maintain thorough documentation for recovery strategies, recovery time objectives (RTOs), and recovery point objectives (RPOs)
- Coordinate and facilitate BCP/DR testing activities, including tabletop exercises, simulations, and technology recovery tests
- Document test results, identify gaps, and aid in remediation efforts with business and IT teams
- Participate in post-incident reviews and lessons learned sessions
- Collaborate with business units, IT, information security, vendor management, and risk teams to validate recovery capabilities and dependencies
- Monitor reporting channels, respond to Business Continuity situations, and execute the crisis communication plan

You will play a key role in crafting procedures and guiding decision-making to ensure business continuity across multiple locations. We offer a hybrid work schedule from our offices in El Segundo, CA or Dallas, TX, and we are committed to creating actionable plans that protect our clients and our business. Our compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, along with competitive performance-based bonuses that reflect your unique skills and experience.
