Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience (or 4 years with a related Masters degree)
- Current Security+ CE certification
- Preferred experience in at least two of the following areas:
- AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, Athena) utilizing Terraform
- AWS networking (VPCs, NAT, gateways)
- GitLab CI/CD pipeline development
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS, ECS, Fargate)
- Infrastructure troubleshooting and performance optimization
Responsibilities
- Construct and oversee Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Python
- Automate the provisioning, patch management, and compliance of RHEL systems
- Install, configure, and fine-tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, along with logging and metrics solutions
- Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using GitLab Runners and Argo CD
- Provide support and maintenance for AWS cloud environments
- Work closely with engineering teams and mission stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Diagnose infrastructure challenges to ensure the reliability of our platform
Description
We are Central Texas Recruiting, a dynamic team seeking to hire DevOps Engineers Level II & III to support a modernized, mission-critical system leveraging cloud-native and microservices architecture. Our focus is on building, automating, and maintaining a highly available AWS infrastructure within a secure environment, with work primarily based on-site in our SCIF facility located in Annapolis Junction, MD. The salary range for this role is between $175K and $230K, commensurate with experience. We offer a collaborative environment aimed at innovation and excellence.
