Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related STEM field (Masters preferred)
- 7+ years of professional experience in data science
- Proven leadership experience in project management
- Expertise in building and managing intricate datasets
- Strong presentation skills for communicating findings to executive teams
- Experience with Cogito is mandatory
- AWS certification is essential
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, SQL, and the data science lifecycle methodologies
- Preferred background in healthcare, hospital, or EHR data
Responsibilities
- Spearhead high-impact, enterprise-level data science projects
- Develop, implement, and uphold advanced predictive and analytical models
- Construct and oversee large, intricate datasets from diverse sources
- Present insights, models, and analyses to executive and C-suite stakeholders
- Mentor and offer technical guidance to junior data scientists
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint business requirements and data opportunities
- Ensure data integrity, model efficacy, and ongoing optimization
