Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph is required
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with over 18 years of substantial technical experience
- Demonstrated success in supporting USCYBERCOM or Intelligence Community in cloud operations
- Strong proficiency in AWS, Azure, ELK, and enterprise data platforms
- Expertise in designing and deploying secure, scalable cloud infrastructures
- Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) for project management and collaboration
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Comprehensive understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures within DoD/IC environments
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills suitable for guiding cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based systems tailored for DoD and IC missions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish requirements and create scalable and secure cloud solutions
- Utilize expertise in AWS, Azure, and ELK to facilitate high-availability operations critical to mission success
- Employ Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) for managing engineering tasks and documentation
- Create data visualizations and dashboards through Tableau, Power BI, or comparable business intelligence platforms
- Mentor and direct engineering teams in cloud best practices, ensuring resilience and adherence to security standards
- Promote the utilization of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures aligned with DoD and IC compliance requirements

We are Central Texas Recruiting, on the lookout for a highly experienced Principal Cloud Engineer to design and implement pivotal cloud solutions that support Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community operations. In this key leadership role, you will develop scalable and secure cloud environments, integrate sophisticated data systems, and foster innovation across various cloud infrastructures. This position offers a superb opportunity for a senior engineer who is enthusiastic about delivering robust, high-performance cloud technologies aimed at enhancing national security efforts. Our office is located in Hanover, MD, and we offer a competitive salary range between $150,000 and $250,000 per year.
