Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a computing discipline, or an associates degree with substantial relevant experience - Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering and project leadership - ITIL certification (version 3 or 4) preferred - Proficiency in virtualization technologies like HyperV and VMware - Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure - Familiarity with identity management solutions including Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory - Experience with Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) - Knowledge of cloud telephony and communication systems - Familiarity with Microsoft security and privacy products such as Defender, Intune, and Purview - Experience with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) tools - Understanding of Zero Trust Network Architecture (e.g., Zscaler ZPA and ZIA) - Background in cloud-managed network devices (such as Cisco Meraki, Fortinet) - Knowledge in end-user device management (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Autopilot) - Proven ability to lead and enhance technical teams, promoting a high-performance work culture - Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management - Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT infrastructure projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities under pressure - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for Change, Incident, and Problem Management - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable

Responsibilities

- Lead the infrastructure team and guide project milestones, offering technical and collaborative mentoring - Collaborate with the VP of IS and Cloud Services to develop and implement the IT infrastructure strategy - Manage relationships with strategic outsourcing partners and third-party vendors to ensure service quality - Oversee the design, implementation, and upkeep of the organizations IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services - Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical and security-related issues, facilitating timely resolutions - Supervise the execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines - Ensure the implementation of robust security measures, compliance with policies, and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives - Monitor system performance and pursue enhancements for efficiency, scalability, and reliability - Direct the response to high-severity security and operational incidents, coordinating efforts for rapid resolution - Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure systems and processes, providing updates to senior leadership - Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, recommending and applying improvements as appropriate - Collaborate closely with Service Desk management to drive enhancements in IT service delivery and user satisfaction
