Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Professional IT certifications preferred
- Over 7 years of experience in administrative support
- Proven troubleshooting skills with server applications such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and group policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft business applications (Exchange, SQL) and operating systems (servers and desktops)
- Familiarity with remote access solutions like VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, M365, and O365
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Teams
- Advanced troubleshooting abilities for network-level issues: WAN and LAN connectivity, Layer 2/3 switching, routers, firewalls, and security
- Strong understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems
- Experience with VMware up to version 7.0
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and effective communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Design system configurations and determine hardware, software, and functional specifications while overseeing system installations
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for clients
- Develop and execute project plans for server and network infrastructure upgrades
- Recommend systems or procedural improvements to clients
- Maintain communication with customers regarding incident progress and follow up on assigned tickets until resolution
- Focus on client needs with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to clients of varying expertise
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all tools and services in the Centaris stack
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required
- Travel to client sites as needed
