Requirements
Must:
I require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a preference for a Master’s degree. You should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, including at least 5 years in cloud infrastructure roles. A deep understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential, along with strong knowledge of cloud architecture, security protocols, and best practices. I am looking for someone with a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, demonstrated by your experience managing complex projects, are necessary. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are greatly preferred.
Responsibilities
I expect you to lead the strategic planning, development, and management of our cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud infrastructure strategy that aligns with our business goals and technological needs. In this role, you'll mentor a team of cloud engineers and architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. You'll design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities. It is vital for you to manage relationships with our Managed Services Providers, Cloud Service Providers, and other key vendor partners, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. I also need you to implement strong security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and to monitor its performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. Additionally, you will develop and manage our cloud infrastructure budget, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Staying current with emerging cloud technologies and trends while recommending innovative solutions will be part of your responsibilities. I expect close collaboration with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to integrate cloud strategies with overall IT and business plans, promoting accountability and compliance throughout our operations.
