Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field. - Over 3 years of progressive experience in network testing, especially within enterprise or hyperscale data center settings. - Thorough understanding of network architecture and advanced networking concepts (e.g., VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS). - Proficient in various routing protocols with hands-on experience in advanced configurations and troubleshooting for BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, or ISIS. - Practical experience with commercial traffic generators (e.g., IXIA, Spirent) and/or advanced open-source tools (e.g., TRex, Ostinato, DPDK-based solutions). - Strong expertise in Python for automation, including creating complex test scripts, frameworks, and API integrations. - CCNA certification is necessary; CCIE certification is highly preferred. - Direct, hands-on experience with SONiC OS in production or large-scale test environments is advantageous. - Familiarity with OCP (Open Compute Project) networking principles and hardware designs is desirable. - Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) concepts and testing is a plus. - Proven familiarity with network security tools and methodologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, access control, encryption). - Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is beneficial. - Experience with Linux system administration along with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Lead the formulation and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies for intricate network topologies and devices within our AI data center. - Spearhead the design of advanced test cases for L2/L3 functionalities, prioritizing performance, scalability, and robustness under heavy AI workloads. - Supervise and conduct thorough testing of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, ISIS) to validate network convergence, stability, and optimal traffic management. - Analyze and interpret complex test data to pinpoint network bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas ripe for optimization. - Design and establish rigorous security testing methodologies to thoroughly validate network security measures and configurations. - Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits on network infrastructures to proactively detect and address risks. - Develop and integrate automated security compliance checks into our continuous integration and deployment workflows. - Create, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and scripts primarily using Python to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability. - Advocate for the implementation of automation best practices across our team. - Develop custom tools and utilities to simulate complex network scenarios and analyze performance outcomes. - Provide expert troubleshooting and root cause analysis for intricate network and security incidents, collaborating effectively with cross-functional engineering and operations teams. - Actively engage in network architecture reviews, offering essential insights to ensure that testability, reliability, and security are ingrained in designs from the beginning. - Mentor and guide junior test engineers, supporting their technical development and fostering a culture of quality and innovation.
