Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Software, or Mechatronics) or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of Linux software development experience with at least one programming language (Python required)
- Minimum 1-2 years using GIT in a Linux environment (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Javascript, HTML, XML, TCL, Bash Scripting, MS Visual Studio .NET (C#, VB, ASP), SQL (preferred)
- Strong operations background in electronics manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory
- Solid understanding of systems and printed circuit boards design processes and manufacturing
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, failure analysis, and industry standards
- Ability to research and comprehend product technologies
- Experience in project management and organization of multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with instrumentation automation and driver development is a plus
- Knowledge of board design and layout is beneficial but not required
- Experience in hyperscale, cloud connectivity, or data center industries is an asset (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Independently develop technical solutions in specific areas of expertise, collaborating with engineers for complex issues
- Attend and participate in technical meetings with customers
- Design and provide high-level test hardware and software architecture
- Select suitable equipment based on equipment data sheets and project requirements
- Assist in formulating structural and functional test strategies and plans
- Engage in creating technical proposals including cost estimations and parts lists
- Research relevant technologies and product-related skills
- Develop production test strategies based on design specifications
- Create and develop test solutions involving both hardware and software integration
- Troubleshoot tester issues utilizing design of experiments and failure analysis techniques
- Fulfill all validation and qualification requirements using statistical and industry-standard methods
- Enhance manufacturing test solutions with a focus on process efficiency and yield
- Collaborate with product design teams for feedback on testability and user experience
- Stay updated with relevant knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory standards
- Travel may be required to locations such as Mexico, Asia, and Europe
