Requirements
Must:
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in PCB design using Cadence Allegro (versions 16.x & 17.x)
- Experience with high-density PCBs (up to 28 layers) and high-speed layout design
- Strong understanding of PCB & PCBA manufacturing processes and quality standards (including IPC)
- Knowledge of Signal Integrity, EMC, and EMI layout requirements
- Background in high-speed digital hardware design and development
- Familiarity with DDR5, 100GbE, PCIe Gen5, and 56G SERDES is advantageous
- Strong design experience in Compute, Storage, or Network products
- Knowledge of AI products, GPU servers, and high-speed OSFP/QSFP networking design is a plus
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and program management abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of IT platforms and database design
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of technical solutions for complex, multi-disciplinary projects
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a large team of engineers
- Analyze intricate systems and propose effective solutions
- Interpret customer specifications and potentially act as the primary contact for clients
- Manage relationships with key suppliers
- Investigate new system concepts, develop design plans, and refine existing systems to align with customer and company needs
- Resolve complex design challenges and ensure adherence to relevant procedures and standards
- Create, modify, and enhance PCB designs using Computer-aided Design (CAD) software
- Actively engage in project planning, scheduling, and design evaluations while offering support across engineering functions
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance throughout design and processes
