Requirements
Must:
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth expertise in Cadence Allegro (versions 16.x & 17.x) and high-density PCB design
- Strong understanding of PCB and PCBA manufacturing processes, along with industry quality standards (IPC)
- Knowledge of Signal Integrity, EMC, and EMI layout criteria
- Experience in high-speed digital hardware design, particularly with DDR5, 100GbE, PCIe Gen5, and 56G SERDES
- Engineering design background in Compute, Storage, or Network products; familiarity with AI, GPU servers, and high-speed OSFP/QSFP networking is advantageous
- Excellent organizational, planning, and program management skills
- Self-driven with the ability to navigate a dynamic environment and manage complex design requirements
- Strong knowledge of IT platforms and database design
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of intricate technical solutions for multi-domain projects
- Serve as a recognized technical authority, providing direction and expertise to a considerable team of engineers
- Analyze complex systems and propose effective solutions
- Assess and interpret customer requirements and specifications; act as the primary liaison for key clients and manage vendor relationships
- Investigate new system concepts, create design plans, and adapt existing systems to satisfy customer and company needs
- Solve complex challenges and generate designs that comply with relevant regulations and standards
- Create, update, and enhance PCB designs using Computer-aided Design (CAD) tools
- Engage actively in project planning, scheduling, and design evaluations, offering support throughout the design phases and manufacturing process to address any challenges
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance in all designs and processes
