Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
- 13-16 years of experience in embedded networking software development (±3 years acceptable)
- Demonstrated expertise in Network Operating System development or maintenance
- Practical experience with L2/L3 networking protocols and ASIC engagement
- Strong programming capabilities in C/C++, along with scripting experience in Python and Bash
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
- Familiarity with Broadcom, Marvell, or comparable ASICs is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Network Operating Systems for white-box switching platforms
- Collaborate closely with global engineering teams for innovative NOS software design
- Independently design, implement, debug, and validate intricate NOS functionalities
- Manage Linux networking subsystems effectively
- Utilize distributed source control, CI/CD workflows, and embedded build environments
- Engage with geographically diverse teams across India, China, and the U.S.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms
