Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 to 15 years of experience in software engineering or relevant area
- Proven expertise in project management and leading complex engineering projects
- Strong leadership abilities and experience guiding a sizable team of engineers
- Financial acumen, skilled in creating financial plans and managing budgets
- Proficiency in various programming languages and software development methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to perform trade-off analyses in intricate systems and recommend effective solutions
- Experience with testing methodologies and automation
- Familiarity with industry regulations and knowledge of trends in software development
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of technical solutions for intricate projects involving multiple domains
- Offer technical guidance and support to a diverse team of engineers
- Manage both technical and non-technical aspects of engineering projects, including team dynamics and financial considerations
- Interpret customer specifications and act as the primary contact for customer communications
- Conduct analyses of complex systems, providing recommendations and developing deployment strategies
- Oversee the rollout of strategic programs, coordinating deployment efforts across various sites
- Maintain relationships with critical vendors and partners
- Design, analyze, and enhance testing processes and test-automation suites
- Develop processing platforms utilizing configuration management technologies
- Ensure ongoing maintenance, support, and improvements to existing systems and platforms
- Collaborate across functions, engaging with customers, project managers, and engineers to create innovative solutions
- Advocate for continuous improvement practices within the team
- Stay updated with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
