Requirements
Must:
- Over 20 years of experience in product architecture and engineering, demonstrating a history of designing, developing, and delivering complex solutions.
- Expert understanding of software and hardware engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices with a solid grasp of interdependencies in power, thermal, electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, particularly in AI/ML, and ability to apply them creatively to solve practical challenges.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of forming strong relationships with customers and understanding their requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strategic mindset to translate customer needs into actionable technical solutions while aligning engineering initiatives with business goals.
- Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor high-performing engineering teams, cultivating a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux kernel, platform drivers, open source development, and networking switching chipsets.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical consultant and leader for key customers, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with customers to clearly define project scope, technical specifications, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
- Design and architect innovative solutions utilizing emerging technologies that address the specific needs of the customer.
- Communicate complex technical ideas and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, establishing trust and rapport.
- Guide and mentor an engineering team, encouraging innovation, teamwork, and continual professional development.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle from design through deployment, ensuring all processes adhere to rigorous quality standards.
- Promote engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, AI-based toolsets, and thorough documentation.
- Continuously enhance engineering processes and methodologies for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and implement quality assurance frameworks and metrics to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed customer standards.
- Proactively identify and address risks to project success and product quality.
- Foster a culture of quality throughout the engineering team and customer engagements, ensuring expectations are consistently met.
