Requirements
Must:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar position or industry
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience
- Proficiency in utilizing Design for manufacturability (DFX) tools and processes
- Experience with wave soldering processes or assembly procedures
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating complex data and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills for reporting technical and business issues
- Ability to lead and drive process optimization initiatives
- Familiarity with Design of Experiments for capability assessment
Responsibilities
- Understand and execute the customers technical roadmap and associated process development projects
- Spearhead the creation and launch of comprehensive manufacturing processes for new customer products
- Provide insights and communicate customer technical requirements to team members and management
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies using DFX tools to enhance manufacturing quality and reliability
- Strategically plan and manage the evaluation of process applications through Design of Experiments
- Design process controls and data collection methods, and analyze data to improve product quality
- Ensure prompt and accurate communication regarding critical technical and business matters
- Engage in occasional travel as needed
