Requirements
Must:
- 12 to 18 years of relevant experience in engineering
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to foster team collaboration
- Proficient in financial planning and business analysis related to engineering projects
- Knowledgeable in various software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with quality and lean principles, D/PFMEA, and corrective action methodologies
- Ability to manage customer interactions effectively
- Understanding of equipment safety and design of experiments (DOE) principles
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of sophisticated technical solutions for multifaceted projects
- Act as a global subject matter expert providing technical leadership to an international team of engineers
- Manage non-technical aspects of engineering projects, including personnel and financial elements
- Interpret customer specifications and serve as the primary contact for client communications
- Analyze system trade-offs and propose strategic solutions while developing deployment plans
- Oversee the implementation of complex programs and coordinate deployment efforts across sites
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners
- Design, analyze, and create test automation frameworks
- Develop a processing platform utilizing various configuration management technologies
- Ensure adherence to software development methodologies in testing, particularly in Agile environments
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms
- Collaborate with users, project managers, and engineers across functions to achieve refined solutions
- Recommend continuous improvement strategies to elevate our technological approach
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes
