Requirements
Must:
- Experience with SONiC network operating system and FRR stack is essential
- Proven ability in designing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network hardware within Data Center, Enterprise, and Campus settings
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, architecture, and protocols, including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN, EVPN, IGMP, DHCP, BFD, VRF, RADIACTACS, NAT, Multicast, QoS, ACL, ZTP, telemetry, and monitoring analytics
- Comprehensive understanding of Switching, Network Security, and Routing hardware architecture
- Proficiency in Linux is required
- Familiarity with C and scripting languages such as Python/Go is highly desirable
- Direct customer engagement experience is a must
- Experience in drafting technical documentation including Application Notes, FAQs, Installation Guides, User Manuals, and Troubleshooting Guides
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (domestically and internationally)
- Availability to work on weekends, holidays, and during off business hours to align with North American and European time zones is required
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to customer networking, storage, servers software, focusing on SONiC-related matters
- Engage with customers to comprehend their network topology and provide insightful recommendations
- Answer customer inquiries, review configurations, and address troubleshooting matters
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Business Development teams to support pre-sales activities
- Author detailed application notes and field alerts for customer reference
- Manage escalations effectively to ensure timely resolution of critical network operations
