Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 to 13 years of experience in relevant fields
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise in Layer-2 (xSTP, LLDP, LACP) and Layer-3 (BGP, OSPF, PIM) protocols
- Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and GoLang
- Experience in Network Operating System (NOS) development and maintenance
- Familiarity with SNMP, Netconf/Yang, REST, CLI, gNMI, and gRPC management tools
- Understanding of platform bring-up, Linux device drivers, and system features like High Availability
- Experience with Broadcom ASICs/NPU or similar devices is advantageous
- Proven ability in project management and financial planning for engineering projects
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team collaboration and direction
- Knowledge of best practices in software development and test automation
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions across various domains
- Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers, establishing yourself as an expert
- Assess and negotiate customer requirements and provide valuable feedback
- Oversee the deployment of strategic programs and manage site-wide deployment initiatives
- Advocate for industry best practices in all aspects of development
- Maintain and develop relationships with key vendors and partners
- Design and execute tests and automation suites for software validation
- Create processing platforms utilizing various configuration management tools
- Sustain ongoing support and enhancements for existing systems and platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve effective solutions through peer reviews
- Promote continuous improvement within the team and processes
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and regulations
