Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering
- Proficient in C, C++, Python, GoLang programming languages
- Experienced in Network Operating System (NOS) development and support
- Knowledge of platform bring-up, including implementation of Linux device drivers, stacking, and high availability
- Proven project management skills, managing complex, multi-functional engineering projects
- Excellent people and team leadership qualities
- Strong financial acumen and ability to create financial and project plans
- Competencies in coaching, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions for intricate projects across various domains
- Serve as a global Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical guidance to a worldwide engineering team
- Manage non-technical aspects of engineering projects, including personnel and financial responsibilities
- Interpret customer specifications and act as the primary point of contact
- Analyze complex system trade-offs and propose effective solutions
- Direct the deployment of strategic initiatives and coordinate efforts across locations
- Maintain relations with key vendors and business partners
- Design and develop tests and automated testing frameworks
- Create a processing platform utilizing various configuration management technologies
- Implement and refine software development methodologies in an agile setting
- Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement to existing systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine project designs and solutions
- Suggest strategies for continuous improvement within the team
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
