Requirements
Must:
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in software engineering
- Bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python
- Expertise in developing and working with Embedded Systems, specifically x86-based Linux appliances
- Familiarity with Board Support Packages (BSPs) and diagnostics applications
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple engineering projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving abilities with knowledge of Quality & Lean methodologies as a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the conception, development, and implementation of sophisticated technical solutions for x86 appliance projects targeting data center and enterprise applications
- Write, debug, and manage software across various programming languages and levels, ensuring adherence to standard development practices such as Agile and Scrum
- Assess customer needs, evaluate system trade-offs, and propose optimal solutions while developing deployment strategies
- Demonstrate a proactive and engaged work ethic, taking initiative on new projects within a collaborative, multi-site team environment
- Collaborate within cross-functional teams, including developers and manufacturing engineers, to ensure products meet high-quality standards and incorporate design feedback
- Design and conduct tests, develop automation suites, and provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing systems
