Senior Lead Engineer - Power Design

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in power design or a related field
- Proficient in power design for single/multi-phase DC/DC converters, load switches, and related components
- Experience developing power systems for networking, compute, or storage products
- Skilled in creating high-current, low-voltage power subsystems for CPU, GPU, ASIC, SoC, and FPGA
- Familiar with PCB stack-up, power planes, and voltage gradient simulation tools
- Proficient in schematic capture and CAD layout tools
- Knowledgeable in circuit simulation software such as SIMPLIS, PSPICE, and LTSPICE
- Experienced with power integrity tools like PowerDC and board-level evaluations
- Familiar with power management interface design and troubleshooting (PMBus, AVS, SVID)
- Ability to define specifications for power connectors and cable assemblies
- Familiarity with the NPI hardware design and deployment cycle
- Experience in developing test automation for power validation is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new electrical systems and circuits for various applications
- Research and plan system ideas, capturing them in schematics and specifications
- Conduct testing, simulation, validation, and qualification of the systems created
- Provide ongoing support during the manufacturing of electrical systems
- Collaborate actively within cross-functional teams including designers, customers, and project leaders
- Enhance designs based on feedback from manufacturing, testing, and reliability reviews
- Lead schematic design, create Bills of Material, and manage cross-functional design reviews
- Oversee power bring-up, debugging, and manufacturing assembly support
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and partners
- Stay informed of relevant industry knowledge and regulations, sharing insights with the team
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Prepare and analyze reports and documentation regarding specifications, design, testing, and debugging
