Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience in IT, with extensive expertise in Networking, including knowledge of Cisco, Dell, Broadcom, and Aruba
- At least 5 years in an architectural role and 2+ years in a client-facing or business partnership position
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an MBA with a technical concentration
- Relevant technical certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, MCSE, ITIL, and security certifications
- Strong understanding of high-availability databases, Data Lakes, server and storage technologies, and Hypervisor technologies like VMWare and HyperV
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, Global Load Balancing, and networking, including routing and cloud integrations
- Ability to assess P&L, operational workflows, and the impact of infrastructure on financial outcomes
- Consultative selling skills to effectively communicate technical visions to internal business partners
- Strategic influence skills to prioritize security and scalability among stakeholders
- Agility in adapting architecture designs in response to shifting business priorities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to establish a 2-3 year infrastructure roadmap aligned with their growth objectives
- Engage in the design, testing, and deployment architecture of complex infrastructure solutions, including Network and security appliances, Servers and storage, Hybrid Cloud, Edge Computing, and VDI
- Formulate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) models
- Lead evaluations of third-party vendors and SaaS providers to ensure seamless integration into our existing enterprise architecture
- Ensure compliance of all business-specific solutions with global security, data privacy, and disaster recovery standards
- Present intricate technical architectures to non-technical executive teams, securing necessary approvals and funding
- Oversee global deployment planning and the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering teams build and support the solution as intended, while involving development and support teams in all phases
