Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management processes.
- Proficient in data analysis with tools such as Excel, SQL, and other visualization software.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain software, ERP systems, and automation tools.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of supplier networks, logistics, procurement, and global supply chains to pinpoint bottlenecks and provide solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex issues with practical solutions.
- Experience in project management is advantageous, including coordinating and executing improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency.
- Ability to define, document, and execute small to medium projects (e.g., budget of up to $200K, duration of 6 months).
- Experience managing deliverables involving at least one third-party vendor.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team or independently.
- Familiarity with finance, supply chain, and manufacturing terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather and document current processes and map out desired future states.
- Work with cross-functional teams to assess existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to manufacturing and supply chain operations to uncover trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Convert business requirements into functional and technical specifications, proposing solutions that align with operational goals.
- Assist in planning and implementing process improvements and technology solutions, coordinating project activities and monitoring progress.
- Collaborate with the change management team to ensure smooth transitions during process and technology upgrades through clear communication and training.
- Work closely with business teams to prioritize projects and initiatives effectively.
- Promote strong collaboration and communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and subject matter experts to achieve successful outcomes.
- Continuously identify areas for process optimization and suggest innovative improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and technologies relevant to our business sectors to bring forward new ideas and solutions.
- Deliver regular and detailed reports to stakeholders as necessary.
